We’re thrilled to share that Granica has been shortlisted for the 2023-24 Cloud Awards in the Most Innovative Use of Data in the Cloud category. It’s an extra-special recognition for us having launched from stealth only six months ago. It underscores the excellence of our commercialization of novel data and AI research for real-world applications. This acknowledgment also highlights our commitment to pioneering advancements in cloud computing and AI effectiveness, safety and efficiency.

The emergence of generative AI has made it a particularly exciting year for AI innovation leveraging the cloud. It continues to generate huge interest in AI across virtually every field. We’re proud to be at the forefront of helping AI teams improve their models, control their cloud costs and achieve efficient growth by reallocating savings from inefficient data infrastructure and unlocking sensitive data sets for safe use in model training.

Through Granica’s industry-leading data training platform, users can build better AI, protect privacy and control costs. With Granica Crunch, users can improve model performance by storing data more efficiently and unlock up to 4X more data to make better models by compressing training files to save up to 80% on storage and access costs — optimizing lifecycle access policies and reallocating the freed up savings to access and use more data. Additionally, Granica Screen can safely unlock dark, inaccessible files and tables for use in model training and preserve privacy for PII and other sensitive information.

Out of the hundreds of cloud-based products and solutions considered by the Cloud Awards judging panel, Granica made a big impression and was shortlisted among five other organizations in the Most Innovative Use of Data in the Cloud category. The Cloud Awards finalists will be announced on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 and winners will be announced on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
